Sclerotherapy & Spider Vein Removal

OPD

What Is Sclerotherapy?

Sclerotherapy is a targeted, minimally invasive procedure used to treat spider veins and small-to-medium varicose veins in the legs. A liquid or foam sclerosant solution is injected directly into the affected veins, causing their walls to collapse, seal shut, and eventually fade away as blood redirects into healthier veins.

Common Symptoms

Web-like red, purple, or blue cluster veins on calves or thighs · Aching, heaviness, or localized burning in lower legs · Mild swelling around ankles after standing · Cosmetic concerns regarding visible leg veins

Our Treatment Approach

Venous Doppler mapping → precision micro-injection of sclerosant solution into target veins → post-procedure compression therapy → gradual natural absorption of collapsed veins by the lymphatic system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is sclerotherapy painful?
The procedure involves minor pinpricks with extremely fine needles and mild, temporary stinging that subsides within minutes.
How soon will I see results after sclerotherapy?
Spider veins typically begin fading within 3 to 6 weeks, while larger varicose veins may take 3 to 4 months to completely reabsorb.
